In about 1969 I had this idea of a triune cosmos, and an image to go with it. The creator/artist sleeps/dreams, off to the upper right. Center bottom, materials- essentially paint tubes. Upper left, a painting (unfinished?) of "the Nativity". They are A) the Source/God, B)the means, and C)the goal, which implies a re-birth of the source via nativity. ( Heavy on the Christianity, but I was born in North America...)

No I did haha. I found it amusing to call myself the creator, if only for the fact that with my paintings I rule their existence. Sometimes I think I have way too much time on my hands to be able to think of titles like that, though some would just say it's arrogance. Ah well, we painters can never win.
Did you get the 'joke' about creator and evolution? People who believe in conservative Bible stuff, think evolution is a lot of hooey. And you had spoken of the evolution of your 'Creator'... ah- never mind! just a thought... I like the "lot of wiork" you put into your paintings- and I'll swear that this is how great painters learn so much- but due diligence, ambition,devotion...

I don't know if it's brave of you to show your new painting in it's beginnings... but I would find it scarey! Smacks of commitment! Looking forward to Creator's evolution! ha ha

Yea I needed good shots for a couple of shows and grad school applications. Besides, at the level I work at it's kind of stupid not to have the best quality!
"Hey thanks! I'm in the process of getting all my work professionally shot so I'll have more up in the next couple of weeks." This is very good news, Lyskaria!
